Welcome to Jagtdrift Brangus

Red Baron FS0874  is a new stud sire we bought from Craig Sclanders, Jan 2013. Craig mentioned: " ..overall, Baron has probably exceeded the numerous AI bulls that I used in terms of consistency." Cows that often breed excessive sheaths do very well with Baron.  I've yet to see a Baron bull calf with a bad sheath"

KB0738 -  2010 South African Red Brangus National Senior Champion bull.

CFH0285 - One of the all time great Brangus bulls. This powerful athlete bred superbly. One of my biggest mistakes was to sell him back to his breeder, Schalk van Oudshoorn.

TT0443 - A medium framed bull, doing good on heifers and mature cows.

Bull power from Red Brangus VL059!  - He has grown in stature to a point where we consider him a Super bull!

Red S.A.Brangus bull BM08136. Sire is El Cid for higher

Brahman percentage. Good on growth.

 #         "PFR Icon is "The LEGEND " of Red Brangus in America and quickly achieving this status in Australia as well "

Bill Geddes, Doonside Brangus, Rockhampton, Australia.

 #          "Red Baron is very correct with exceptional length, an ideal sheath, good width   and muscling. He has stong legs, enough bone, moves well and is the best Icon son  I've seen. His dam is one of the best and his first weaners look very promising.

John Baxter, South African Brangus consultant and retired owner of the famous T-X  herd.

 #           "The type we all should be using. I expect him to greatly influence the breed.  Also a corrector of most shortcomings."

Roy Dixon, CRV Xseed genetics and Brangus breeder.

<---   Amarok is used for A.I.  Red Brangus semen imported from Chadwick Downs, Australia.

MV06516 - Very smooth coated with strong legs and feet. He earned the nickname of "Patrol", by the jealous way he always gathers his harem of females.

Diamant V5 01-117 - This gem's progeny still shines in our herd.He was the        studsire we bought for our reds in 2003. He represented the breed in the                 "All Breeds Competition" in Pretoria and earned Gold Merit!

Australian Red Brangus bull Valentino - Semen imported.

BM 09111 is our "New Gun". Newt and Lead Gun pedigree! Cadence breeding in S.A. for top performing females.

JJR06110 - "Red Coat" in working clothes. With his moderate birth weight and above average figures on milk, growth and scrotum circumference he is the right choice for safe calving whilst maintaining performance ! He also corrects  colour problems.
